Professionally, Melinda founded Paradigm Mechanical Corp. in 2010 after working in the construction industry for ten years. She grew up in an entrepreneurial environment and has incorporated innovative thinking in all of her career positions – gaining a wealth of experience in construction insurance, bonding, finance, consulting and management. In the controller position of a large San Diego HVAC mechanical contractor, she saw opportunities existed for a company that would use project team experience, technical knowledge and creativity to address and implement solutions to any challenge a building project might present. Herein lays one of her inherent strengths – and what sets Melinda’s team of subject-matter experts at Paradigm Mechanical Corp. apart from all of the rest.
In 2013 Melinda was honored by the San Diego Business Journal as a finalist in the 20th Annual Woman Who Means Business and the 7th Annual Most Admired CEO award competitions. Her recognition was in part achieved by leading Paradigm Mechanical Corp. to report 1990 percent growth over its first three years in business. In addition Paradigm was ranked #21 on the 2013 San Diego Business Journal Woman-Owned Business List based on 2012 revenue.
Melinda is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP).
